[He kept his arms around Venti. He wasn't going back on what he told Chuuya, he wasn't blaming the man for what happened as it had been largely out of his control. But they weren't fooling themselves either, had Chuuya succeeded in killing Kaeya then he wasn't sure what would have happened with Diluc or even Venti.
He knew they wouldn't forgive Chuuya at that point. There was no coming back from that. But he also didn't exactly appreciate having yet another near death experience at the hands of someone he cared about too. His arms tightened around Venti.]
It's a wonder how this place even survived with all this nonsense happening.
[ Well, and time loops plus Sora magic. There's a lot more to it than simply because people lived. He knows that. He knows Kaeya does, too. ]
Can I join you?
[ He'll climb right in next to Kaeya and take up as little space as possible. He'll get close and cuddle up to him. He will give him all the love that he could possibly want and then some. ]
And next time, though there better not actually be a next time, I can heal you, you know? Just ask. I'd do it with everything I got. Not without questioning how, though.
[ Venti's more than happy to be snuggly with Kaeya. He crawls right into the blankets and moved an arm around the other as he tucked against him. He gave him a kiss on the top of his head. ]

[It was a very bratty and pouty answer that Kaeya replied with, but there was no heat or malice behind it. He was just tired and in pain.
He lifted the blanket for Venti to slide in and cuddle in close. Kaeya eagerly buried his face against the archon's chest. He sighed softly.]
I don't want there to be a next time either, but duly noted. I don't think I've gotten in this much trouble even in all my years in the Knights.
